Saw Chase Shakur here and had a great time! The Atlantis is a solid venue with lots of space, clean bathrooms, and drinks were easy to grab. Even if you arrive a bit late, there are still plenty of good spots with a clear view of the stage.
It was also super easy to grab an Uber afterward since the street isn’t too busy. Would definitely come back for another show!
Having been to the 9:30 Club numerous times over the past 2 decades this was my first show at their new location next door. It didn't disappoint. The crew was nice and helpful and the venue itself seemed smaller than the 930, but that made it more intimate. I believe the max was 400 people.
It was clean with a nice bar selection. There is a balcony right above the stage you could stand or you can stay downstairs and be right in front of the band. There is no bad seat(standing only) in the place. We saw Thievery Corporation and it was amazing. Ironically, the last time we saw them was at 930 Club.
Parking can be difficult being in town and the university right there. Just know they have their own parking lot a few blocks away, but you can prepay for a spot before you arrive
I really really liked this venue. It's on the smaller side and pretty much standing only. I think capacity is like 450 but it's tall and kind of airy. The show was amazing and Atlantis has an interesting line up coming up. I really can't wait to see more shows and discover more bands here.
